'Had Third Coast Guitars in Chicago install Fender American Vintage Jazzmaster pickups on the '96 MIJ Jazzmaster.

A-frigging-mazing difference. It is now every bit as well-built, hot looking, playing, sounding as a new Ameican Jazzmaster. Tried three so far. And a real '67.

That Jazzmaster can now run with ANY big dogs, American Standard Strat or Tele, ES-335, Les Paul Deluxe, SG.

Tremendous pickups and great install / setup by Third Coast. This opinion says, "Do it."

PS: DR .011 flatwounds. Big smile. Jazz, surf, Ventures, show tunes. Nailed.
