I'm sure they would, if you go through your local dealer.
I plan on ordering one very soon, but I'm after something like a '54 hardtail to match my other CS '54.

If the custom shop can build a guitar out of aluminum, or hand carve thinline strats, I'm fairly certain they can make a 78 hardtail. lol. Masterbuilts are running at a 2 year delay, so you may want to jump on the list asap... Go to a local custom shop dealer, it's actually quite a fun experience.

I saw a 54 hardtail at Makenmusic. It had the same neck as the 54 but plastics and pickups appeared from 56 Time Machine. I have photos if you want.
