Rather than try to describe specs, here's a link to the specs here on the website. This one is Daphne Blue.

http://www.fender.com/customshop/instru ... 9233000023

Mike Eldred demos a LPB one in one of the videos.

At the UK Custom Shop Roadshow on Tuesday, Mike picked this guitar to do a song at the end, and it sounded really really good...and I ended up buying it! :)

I first saw these Esquires at the 2008 NAMM show, and here's a pic I took of some of them!

The "Evening with Mike Eldred" was held at GAK in Brighton, and not at Coda, as was originally arranged.

It was a very interesting evening of demos, chat and "hands on" with some of the CS guitars that were there. Mike gave a talk on his life and experiences at Fender, and then followed up by answering any questions that we had.
To wind up, he performed a song, and he picked the Esquire off the wall to play!

It was an entertaining, and thoroughly pleasant evening!

Managed to have a couple of glasses of wine too! :D

Congrats, I'd love one of those in two tone sunburst or white blonde!
