Hey Guys,

I'm restoring an old strat that I got and I want to do some touch up work on the body to eliminate some of the paint scratch marks and dents.

The color of the body is a cream/vintage white, but I'm not sure where I can purchase the paint, any ideas? Perhaps maybe there is an equivalent color that is more readily available?

Thanks!

http://home.flash.net/~guitars/products.html

Try the above url, it is a company that has lots of information about refinishing and products.

Hope this helps.

why do you want to do that?????
I say leave the scratches, dents, and marks on it. It'll give it a vintage look.

Some folks will pay extra for that...

Just look at what they get for the

Not only do many people typically favor the vintage/relic look, but you also have the hardest color to touch up. Any type of white/cream finish will slowly age, especially with older nitro-finished guitars. The white gets "creamier" with age, making each individual finish a somewhat unique white. So to touch up a guitar with an already very unique color is difficult.
