Being that there is a great Masterbuilt Club thread, I think that many of us out there, including myself, would enjoy seeing Team-Built and Team-Built Custom guitars. I'm sure there have been such threads in the past but I'll update it it regardless. So here goes. I've already posted pictures of my new NOS 1956 Team Built One-Off; however, to start this thread, I'll post my pics again. If you have a Team-Built or Team-Built Custom, please post your pictures. Here are my pictures:

I agree, that's a fine piece of equipment you got there.

How about some details on the finish. Wood looks like ash.

On the question: We've been given to understand that the term Teambuilt has been retired, and that anything not Masterbuilt is designated by the term Custom Shop.

Whither from there, quien sabe?

I'm not sure if they've abandoned the Team-Built and Team-Built Custom label; however, I can tell you that my guitar was a one-off and they have an upcharge of $650.00 I believe if you want to modify a particular model. In my case, it became a one-off after I modified a Time Machine 56' Here are the specs:

1956 Strat (Time Machine Series) , light-weigh premium ash, including a 10/56 "V" profile neck and off-center seam body. The neck is AA flame maple with a slight tint. I replaced the original bridge and block with a Callaham Vintage S Model Strat Bridge assembly. The pickups are Custom Shop Fat 50's single coils. Bing Cherry transparent color, nickel/chrome vintage staggered tuners with no string tree, 5-way S-1 Switching system and the guitar is finished in all nitro-cellulose lacquer with no undercoat, 6105 frets, 9.5 radius fretboard.

Thank you!! Well here is what I paid: $2918.00 for the guitar. The parts and labor for the Callaham S Bridge brought the guitar's total to $3,138.00.

All sounds about right, in the pipeline, for that build.
