I have a possible warranty issue with my 59NOS PBass, I tried emailing the customer relations email address and have tried the local importer (I understand the Customs shop stuff is handled differently?)

I can't get replies from anybody..

is there a better email address to contact (I've registered with the custom shop 'Custom Care' thing.. received the card)

Hi Mike thanks for taking the time!
I'm in Australia, but I wasn't sure if because of the custom care thing its international or if I go through the local guys (who I assume would be using local repairers?)

The Custom care text reads like its an international support program, but I'm not 100% sure!

I've got some pics of the problem (which may be nothing! But the local warranty runs out in about 4 weeks), basically it looks like a crack is appearing in the fretboard from the top of the truss rod..

Thanks again.

All the info should be in that packet. Fender Australia can help as well. Doesn't make sense. this is the first I've heard of 'no response".

hey don't get me wrong, you guys have always sorted problems when they have come up!

Hence me wondering if there was a better email address.. I hadn't received a reply. Emails get lost, spam filters kill things.. it happens!

I don't even know if the problem IS a problem.. just sort of getting concerned as the local warranty is running out shortly.

Again, thanks for taking the time.

This is the issue..

hi mike, no, nothing yet.. I sent it to the customerrelations address mentioned on the custom care page. I had to chase up fender oz to check they revived my mail, they confirmed they had and had sent the photos to a local repair guy for his opinion.

Again thanks. As I mentioned I'm not even sure it's worth worrying about..

sort of in!
If it's a choice if local repair or being sent back the custom shop, I'd much prefer the custom shop option.

Having said that I have not found dealers here know anything about the custom care program.
