ello.
I'v had my 1969 strat for about 6 months now, and its never off me. Half the days I'm playin it plugged in, and the other half, just walkin around with it - But - The lightest string on it keeps on sliding off the neck if I might wobble it or whatever you call that.

By the way, it doesn't come out of the nut slot thing, I think it might just be to close to the end of the neck.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Normally a simple fix

Look down on top of the strings and see if the Thin E string is closer to the edge of the neck higher up towards the bridge than it is at the Nut.\\

If this is the case a slight neck realignment is necessary, Real simple procedure. slacken strings right off, Loosen the 4 screws holding the neck on, It's not necessary to loosen them right off, just a little. then turn the guitar over and then holding the body push the headstock to the left (there is always a small amount of movement available to align). Hold it all firm and tighten up the neck screws. Tighten the Thin E a little and see if the alignment is better, if not slacken again and re-do. If ok tune up and there you go.

I had to do this with a few of mine from the fac.

hope this helps.

Another area you might check is the saddle alignment. If I'm not wrong they can also be shifted somewhat. Good luck and let us know how it turns out. BTW it's probably the neck alignment like the previous poster suggested.

I'll give it a go.
So to re-align it, you un-screw the neck off (a bit), then you hold the headstock to the left firmly, and then re-crew?

Yes, that's basically it. If there is too much of a gap after adjustment you may need to put some shims in to keep it stable . I think you can get neck shims from most suppliers like www.stewmac.com or just use a piece or two of wood veneer. More than likely just slightly moving the neck and tightening the bolts will do it. Good luck and keep us informed!

PS. don't put extreme force on the neck or over tighten the bolts. If you get too heavy handed with any of it you may cause some damage. Use common sense. :)
