Hello,

I have an old guitar that I purchased way back in 1997 @ a Pawnshop. It was like the 3rd guitar that I owned and it was more of an "I gotta have an american fender" buy. It was at a good price @ the time $400.00 after bargaining the heck out of the owner). I was told that this guitar was a "parts o caster" but I did not mind, since It still is my main guitar after going thru AMmade Strats. it seems kinda odd that I can not find any information regarding the serial number on this strat. It has some E3 serial number but 6 digits (usually it's 5) and it all has the features of a strat plus. i am hoping this is at least a strat plus "made" with original parts but the custom shop logo throws me off a bit. I want to know (and I am hoping) if this guitar is factory made custom shop, HOME MADE or any information to clear things up. Kinda like u want to know if you're adopted or not. ok I'm bad with analogies, but you get the point.

Here's some info:
Srial # E 301278
Oval custom shop logo on the back of the headstock
Wilkinson roller nut
matching red painted headstock
tremsetter
lace sensor pick ups (orange and white wires, typical of pre 1989 strat plusses)
Swimming pool routed body
micro tilt adjustment in the neck
The butt of the neck has a Stamped R/W (rosewood?) and the date jun 02 1989
The neck pocket does not have a date but again has a stamped red oval custom shop logo and initials M.O. written (in red pen?)

Thanks guys!
