Just make sure you filled all the requested info on the form and keep your receipt from the store that you bought your guitar from. The receipt is the most important thing!

If they go in alphabetic order it will be a while. It will take a month or so just to print out forum member Alain's cards!!

I would say so! do you think they would cover your '90 H. Marvin strat? I can't remember it it is for any FCS made after 1987 or not. not to mention it is only one of 20 ever. I bet they would love taking that apart.

I'm stuck with that b....y "Model/Part #" and "serial number"

As long as nothing is done on the Custom Shop side there is no way for me to register most of my Custom Shop guitars.
I lived without it until now, I'll survive without it af of now.
But I think it wouldn't hurt them to solve this problem raised earlier.

Alain, I just typed in the Name of the guitar where it asked for the part number and you have the serial numbers huh? I typed in David Gilmour NOS for model number. Is that what you are asking?

Alain,
please write into consumerrelations@fender.com and describe the problem you're having with as much detail as you can. Feel free to send it to my attention and let's see if we can work a fix out for you. I'm not really getting whats going on.....so help me out, ok?
Sorry for the trouble.

Hope you have a good weekend though!!!
Best regards,
rob

Yes I don't feel like filling 41 times the same questions on myself and having no clue to any model part or serial number of so many One-Off Guitars :?

In that he has become a niche consumer of a very eclectic segment of Fender's Custom Shop output (guitars which, in the past they have given considerable lip service and made very attractive to collectors such as he) they should find a way to accommodate him with respect to registering this collection. He maintains that certain of them lack the means to be catalogued in the manner developed for the Custom Care Club.
