Hi Alainlafrance,
41? 41? Really? 41!!!!!! Wow!!! Beautiful guitars too, I must say!

For your question, to my knowledge we don't have a way to Bulk register, but perhaps Brad (being the tech mind in this arena) may have some trick you can use like Ctrl+Y or something. We can figure SOMETHING out though, I'm sure.
Thanks for posting that link......very nice stuff to see!

Best regards to you and all,
rob

I am not able to continue with my registration, unless I input an American State for Germany.

Hmmm ... I'm starting to wonder if you somehow have the previous version of this form cached in your browser. Sorry for the trouble, but could you try emptying your browser's cache and trying it once again?

Brad,

It works now. :D

Thanks.

lol showing that slideshow to the builders would be like a trip down memory lane! (since they built almost all of them and they all were uber limited runs, making it a memorable building expirence. Yuri in particular since he built at least 15 of the guitars in his collection) they should check it out!

How long did it take you to register 41 guitars? Have you also reworked the photo arrangements?

I was checking the back of your 'Blackie' against the back cover of the Christies Catalog. Fine repro there all around including the shade of the exposed wood. People need to know that. I have a contact who has had them both in hand at the same time. He was amazed.

On the Marvins...given the pickups are different but what else differentiates these two guitars that you deemed it appropriate to own them both?

I also noticed in your fine staple of FCS guitars, that you are lacking an essential strat: a Hendrix Proto! My ALL TIME FAVE. EVER. I have my eyes on a used one for 2800. so far I got 2500. keep the fingers crossed!

The tuners, but that's minor.
The main purpose of owning the proto is it's extreme rarity (5) and the acknowledgment of the importer of such discrepancy.

It's a great piece of conversation with all the SHADOWS fans. In Japan it would fetch an absolutely insane price.

Clearly understandable from a collector's point of view.

With regard to the electronics, were the pickups change for reasons similar to why EC made the move with his guitars?

Take a hint from the man  Put down the $2500....that's 90%, nearly fully paid and, if the seller will agree, sign a note to pay off the rest.

well it's through Wildwood Guitars, and I am unsure of their policy. I'll deal with it

Yes :!: That's the one we had some chitchat around here about the logo on the head stock NOT being upside down. Someone found that objectionable as if commerce were more important than reasonableness on a reversed headstock.

What I find interesting about this deal is the way Wildwood talks price. :? Let's suppose an $8K retail quote from the CS on this Galuska Masterbuild.A lot of what I see seems to 'street' at 70-80% of retail. So this guitar might have sold new anywhere between $56-62K. It's an '04 by the #. I can imagine what they stole this guitar for on trade if they are asking $2800 retail used  .

By the way, they are offering a Todd Krause '54, a beautiful guitar, and they make the statement that the guitar is all '54 specs and mention it carries a 5-way switch  . That never happened that far back :!:
It shows that you have to read carefully.

However, if G.A.S. and pricing are balanced on your scale of 0-100, go for it :P . Don't know why a credit card shouldn't seal this  .

Great choice considering the economy the way it is and the fact that you are well within striking distance of the place. They better have rolled out the red carpet for you. 8)

With such pick ups it's a far cry from being even close to Hank Marvin' sound even the one after The Shadows splitting.
Those were in fashion at the CS at that time and without any news from HBM and under the pressure from Arbiter...
