Congratulations on your cards guys! I'm still waiting on mine. I filled out the form the first day it was available. Wonder if I filled it out correctly? :?
Think I should do it again? I'll be patient a few more days.

I'd give it a few more days Hop, I'm sure fender are on top of this.

They came in the same day I posted this post Snowy! :) I've got a question. Does the card contain all your information on your guitar like a credit card? On the back it has a white strip (that looks like a magnetic info strip) and underneath it says "Your instrument's serial number". Are you supposed to write the number on that strip (like signing a credit card) or is the information pertaining to that particular guitar embedded there already? :?
Have a great day Snowy!!

Oh, and thanks FMIC!! Very cool!! 8)

Alain ,
To answer your earlier question, I had bought the Krause Strat from a Fender dealer, the original owner had traded it for a Tom Anderson handbuilt, and I purcased it from them,
. I probably dont qualify for the free services, but it did get registered and Idid get the ID for it. hope this helps

Yeah hooray.

Five envelopes arrived today!

Just one more to go.

Alain - hope you have a big postbox to receive yours - the mailman's bag will probably be full just with your envelopes.

LOL

You thread the rubber through the Custom Card, then you can use it on your case handle or key ring - in fact anywhere you want really.

Just like a bagge tag you get with your frequent flyer club....

I don't know that there is anything imprinted magnetically into this card. I plan to take an indelible marker, put my COA # on the card, put my purchase receipt in the envelope and file it in the same location with the COA certificates.

Poor Alain.......

Hello Doc and Mr Hopkins.

I agrtee with you - I dont think that Fender have put any incoded information onto the card.

I tink the white strip is for us to write on the serial number.

As I said in my previous mail - a bit like a frequent flyers card.

[quote="caleb"]Hello Doc and Mr Hopkins.

Caleb...we've long since 'be-nited' "Mr. Hopkins" . We call him "Lite'nin" these days in deference to the great bluesman.

I didn't get a rubber thing with my card. It probably cost too much to mail it with the card in international post.

Driver: Que no te preocupes!!!! Toss the card in the file box with your COA and purchase receipts and 'Fuggeddaaboudit" until that rainy day comes!
