Thanks for any help in advance. I have a Squier nut that I'd like to polish up, but, when it comes to the slots, is there a certain tool you use? I have 1000 gauge sandpaper, and I was thinking to maybe wrap that around a toothpick to polish the nut slot bottoms.

Anyone have any techniques?

Just wet and dry paper for the bass strings. I use a fine needle for the treble strings. A soft touch is a prerequisite.

In future ask these questions in the strat or squire forums mate, you'll get a quicker answer and more people chiming in too. More opinions = better ideas from other people.
