I've seen several of your posts about you loving the Merle Haggard Signature Tele.

I got a chance to play one last weekend and it's all that and more. The non-bolt on gives you a nice solid feeling with great upper neck access and the 4-pos switch lets you dial in the best twang sounds that I've ever heard from any Tele.

I think I'd better start saving my pennies too.

And it's quite versatile for a Tele, but don't expect that shrieking sound with the bridge pick up, it's a civilized Tele (but still with a wild touch).

Hi Miami Mike,

Aye, that Merle Haggard is a real piece of art.
I saw a beauty at the Fall Philly Guitar Show
a few weeks back. Still in brand spankin new
condition it was under 4k, it was there on Saturday
but gone by Sunday.

Mike, my penny jar still has a way's to go.

Cheers.
