No battle my friend, each of us has his own criteria of what he wishes to own.

It's not a question of quantity, but of what one likes.
Presently I'm looking for nothing special but if something of interest for me appears, then..
Some people know what I'm looking for in the vintage CS guitars and vice versa.
Patience. Patience. That's the rule.
You can't buy whatever comes out of the Custom Shop.

Well stated.

Seems to me perhaps one of these would fit in...

We are, my friend and I, testing the site, nothing to sell or buy (it's our own collections) but just show what the very best of the world luthiers can provide.
You won't be disapointed .
Our hope

Thanks Alain and really looking forward to your new site.

I found these Fender CS Strats in Premier Guitar magazine. They are currently on the Jimi Hendrix tour and in the hands of Ernie Isley. These Fender Custom Shop Strats were commissioned by Isley’s wife as birthday presents. They both feature maple (right) and flamed maple (left) tops and roses handcarved by George Amicay. The rosewood fretboards have several inlays, including a hummingbird, two doves, and the word “Zeal.” Both guitars also feature custom single-coils and gold hardware. The flame maple guitar was built by Art Esparza. IMHO, they are gorgeous!!!!

I too will be looking forward to seeing your web site Alain!

Athough, being honest, I'm not as keen on the Strats of course. Maybe I could contribute a little on the Telecaster side (as no doubt could Csapo  )

FYI, I am very close now to obtaining my goal of all three colours in the very early Custom Shop 40th Anniversary Telecasters - that would make a nice photo when I finally get them together 8)

Had a count up recently of the number of CS guitars that I've owned....74 is the total...started in 1990 with a 40th Anniversary Telecaster! My favourite is still my John English Stealth Esquire....problem is its TOO good and stops me from buying anymore Tele type guitars...although a Campilongo Tele might do it for me!

Just interested in how many Custom Shop guitars some members out there have. I've owned 6 Custom Shop basses at one point...but now have only 4 basses and love them all!

I'm belatedly into this one, but my first thought was..."here we go again.'' Another newbie to Alain's collection. 8)
