So, soon...

Now THAT's a good idea! 8)

May I suggest some ultra high resolution images of the Blackie Tribute? I'd like to wallpaper a room with it.

Maybe I'll send the photos to you directly because of the number of guitars being involved not allowing very large size photos although of pro quality we hope, just like that :

And then, last but not least, I found another early Custom Shop set neck twin HB Tele. This one is again different, with twin Gibson style NBs, a Strat tremelo system, roller nut and Hipshot Drop D tuner.

Hi everyone! I haven't been on this thread for a while and funnily enough, I haven't stopped collecting Custom Shop guitars.

So let's try to get up to date....let's see, the last one I posted was the John Cruz Masterbuilt Harrison Replica Rosewood Tele. Since then, I bought another John Cruz Masterbuilt Rosewood, this one is a replica of the 1969 production model Rosewoods.

the production model has the skunk stripe neck...

And then, after a lengthy search, I found another 40th Anniversary Tele, this time in Natural finish...

More to come...

I love those 40th Anniversary teles..Classy.

Well, I kind of figured that much. :)

I was just wondering about some of the basic info (?) :?

Like - Is that the one that John Cruz did for NAMM '05? Pamelina art, over Goldleaf? Was there another made? (The one at NAMM had a rosewood neck.)

Hmmm....That one is so beautiful....But, I don't think I'd want them to build another for me.

I wonder how it would have looked over Black colored Goldleaf? Yum!

Glancing through page 10, I was just going to say that I only saw 1 other Wasp Strat, but that it had a rosewood neck, and look what we see on page 11. :)

The artwork was done by Pamelina.

Any material on the Blackie Tribute would be welcome. It's nice to compare the subtle differences of the Tributes; each one seems to be a little bit different. Mulling over the pictures is probably the best thing besides owning one...

Yep... that's one battle I'm definitely NOT going to win!

Actually, I have no idea how many Custom Shops I have now.

But not 39, that's for sure!

No battle my friend, each of us has his own criteria of what he wishes to own.

It's not a question of quantity, but of what one likes.
Presently I'm looking for nothing special but if something of interest for me appears, then..
Some people know what I'm looking for in the vintage CS guitars and vice versa.
Patience. Patience. That's the rule.
You can't buy whatever comes out of the Custom Shop.
