My favourite of all strats and by a builder who's life story is a masterwork in itself. Love that blonde on ash finish with gold hardware. All i can find are cunneto relic's though.

I purchase it in a U.S store called fullers vintage guitar, in Texas.

I currently am in the range of 3, which I wouldn't trade for anything (soon to be 4 if I wrangle a TBO)

#1: '64 Relic Ltd

#2: '58 Tele Relic

#3: Custom Shop Clapton Strat (black, the one on the right)

Just 2- both are in the Closet Classic finish (which just RULES in my humble opinion):

My '60 Time Machine in Daphne Blue, and a '66 Limited Edition in Firemist Silver Metallic. Both are FANTASTIC guitars, and I am very attached to them!

Together with a friend of mine who also indulge himself into collecting guitars, we are constructing a non commercial website to show guitars from our own private collection that people might not see elsewhere, among others, about 100 different Fender Custom Shop guitars (most probably the largest herd of CS guitars around)
We are in the test run.
So, soon...

Now THAT's a good idea! 8)

May I suggest some ultra high resolution images of the Blackie Tribute? I'd like to wallpaper a room with it.

I currently own a Yuri 54 Masterbuilt and a Rory. Clearly a Nocaster / Broadcaster / Telecaster is missing from the collection.... but then again so is a 3 tone sunburst, maple neck 58 type Strat...... hopefully coming soon.

Hi everyone! I haven't been on this thread for a while and funnily enough, I haven't stopped collecting Custom Shop guitars.

So let's try to get up to date....let's see, the last one I posted was the John Cruz Masterbuilt Harrison Replica Rosewood Tele. Since then, I bought another John Cruz Masterbuilt Rosewood, this one is a replica of the 1969 production model Rosewoods.

the production model has the skunk stripe neck...

And then, after a lengthy search, I found another 40th Anniversary Tele, this time in Natural finish...

More to come...

And after the natural 40th anniversary, along came a second Custom Shop Telelcaster 12, this one having a Rosewood fretboard.

And then, a Custom Shop "standard" Telecaster. Just beautiful this is.
