I know, none of us wants to open the goodies bags but have you tested the Evidence Melody Cable that was provided with the DG Strat ?
If no, you missed something !
Just make a blind test with your regular cable and you'll be instantly convinced: less distortion , less peaks, a smoother cristal clear bandwidth.
have I done that ?
No, I was already using Evidence cables (Lyrics HG) but most of the qualities are the same.

Dare you ?
Alain

Yep plugged mine in with the Evidence cable soon as I got it.

I can't believe the difference a cable makes.
If I hadnt heard it myself I would never believe it.

I also use the pick, took a little getting used to but now I really it.

Hi Gratz,

I "just" play on a Fender Bass VI and a Tom Anderson Baritom.
And to tell you, the difference while playing a Bass guitar is even more stunning, the cristal clear sound is absolutely incredible on these instruments.
Try !!!
Cheers
Alain

Given the "Evidence" the jury has rendered its verdict :!: :P

Yes
I coulnd't believe before that a cable could bring so much into the sound of a guitar.
I used Elixir cables ; they were great compared to the "usual" cables.
But these Evidence ...That's someting else.
From my guitar, into my Echo device, into my amp...(there is one way, the red tip has to go into the next device !)
Sheer pleasure even at a low level
Just play through them from at least 10h to get them at their best.
