I am on the verge of purchasing a MIA Standard Corona,CA strat and I want to replace the neck. It has a rosewood neck on it, the shape escapes me right now. I want to replace it with a Maple, 70's Headstock with the classic blullet truss. My question is, does Fender's Custom shop deal necks or am I going to have to scower Ebay?

The Fender Custom Shop doesn't deal with spare parts.
They replace a CS neck for another CS neck should the later being damaged and sent back to them. Same for other parts.

Since Fender does not deal directly, would anyone provide me with a trusted vendor? Or is Ebay my only option?

mightymite, warmouth or kavanagh. If it has to have a logo then ebay is your only real option. If i were so concerned with having a individual neck i'd go with warmouth or kavanagh.

Thanks! I'm familiar with Warmoth but call me a slave, I must have the name. So it looks as if I'm off into that crazy, sketchy world that is Ebay.

I have bought and sold necks on eBay, and the advice I'd give is just ask the seller LOADS of questions, and ask them to send you more detailed pics with a date on a piece of paper in the shot (so you know it's not an older picture). If you wanted to go that far..?

You can also try craigslist, I've seen necks on there too.

There's an online shop called Pickers Parts that seems to have reasonable prices on parted out Fenders.
