Is it possible to get fender custom shop to build you a hollow body starcaster. Those guitars are neat but hard to find.

You can ask anything to the CS if you are ready to pay the bill.
On some guitars they would need to make new toolings so the cost might be skyrocketing...

Oooh that sounds comforting. I've seen some of the vintage starcasters being sold for $4,500 dollars. I hope asking the custom shop to build one is a little cheaper! Thanks for the reply!

Hello Muramasa,

In the summer I got a preliminary quote
from the Custom shop, appx. 10 grand.
and would have to be a masterbuilt.
Price would drop if I ordered multiples, but
we didn't discuss volume rates.
9-12 waiting period but they said no problem
and they would like to do it.

Cheers.

For 10 bills I think I would look for one of the originals.
