Most of my correspondence here is either done on the run between breaks during the day, late at night, or on weekends. I need to plan some down time to take these photos. I'm hoping to do this towards the end of the season when my wife in is Florida. I'll certainly have my Gilmour by then as well.

Nice day here in the NY area after a pretty lousy Saturday. Have the grandkids here for a club Hallow'een party. It's always a great event.

More later.

Doc

Alain, thanks a lot for the info, now in your expert opinion as a collector, (i) do you consider this a sound investment, (ii) do you consider Chris Fleming a good masterbuilder (like Cruz, English, and Krause) and (iii) in your opinion is this shop a serious business place.

Thanks a lot again and sorry for the 20 questions!!!

Cheeers everyone and a great week for all of you.

M.

1) Compared to some other Limited Editions yes but quick profit should not be considered as it is not a very limited Edition. It might take time before a ROI be positive.
2) Yes definitely
3) Yes definitely

Thanks a lot Alain, I'm trading a bunch of guitars to see if I can get myself this one. I tried a long time ago to get one but had no luck, maybe this is the one I've been waiting for.
Again, thanks a lot for the tip, and for you answer.
M.

Received email from my vendor that the guitar will be in their hands around noon EDT. I expect they had one in the proverbial pipeline.
Can't get around to it until Saturday, but I've asked for the serial number as a matter of our interest here.

See my note on Les Paul in the Lounge Forum.

Doc

Completely off topic, but I just wanted to thank Alain for tip about the Blackie Strat on Daves Guitar, I flew this weekend to WI with a bunch of guitars to trade and am half way into being the owner of my own Blackie. Thanks a lot Alain,
Manuel

Alain was right initially. There is no indication that these types of instruments hold any values for being a namesake or "artist series" or anything of that ilk. Secondly he's right again in that there would not be a difference between reliced or NOS.

Here's a thing to remember, guys. Players like Robben Ford, Eric Clapton and Eric Johnson order a fair amount of CS stock. Anyone have any idea what the percentage of guitars is that they order "reliced"? I know what Clapton's numbers are. They are 0.0% by any info I have. He gets all of his done NOS because " buying a guitar that's just beat up for the sake of the appearance of antiquity is a bit daft now , isn't it?"

Just a thought from a former Fender dealer and tech. Cheers!
