Let's here some opinions on it from owners out there, what do like about it and what do you dislike?

As a side note, does anyone know how many special or custom colors were released in addition to the Black and Whites?

I've been looking at the '07 model.

I've seen them in two-tone sunburst, three-tone sunburst, sonic blue, fiesta red, lake placid blue, shell pink and one more which is slipping my mind at the moment.

They're great guitars, but for me too many "upgrades."

I have a black one and I love it. It's my gig-ing guitar. I recently even upgraded it some more by putting a Vintage Hot Rod pickup set on it with the DiMarzio Tone Zone in the bridge and the SCN's in the middle and neck.

Whenever, I play this guitar I always get compliments on my tone. It has a raging, growling, tear-your-head-off quality.

You GOTTA love the 12 inch radius.

It's a marriage between my Master Built '64 and my "stays in tune" Jeff Beck Artist, but with a faster neck.

I own a Shell Pink, new spec.
Love it. The 12" radius, contoured heel, etc. just gives the Strat a breath of fresh air.

Joe,
Where did you get it from?

Mine arrived today, I just strummed it a bit before having to run out and now I'm online. But it's gonna get a ripping tonight.

Sup. Do you guys think that the Strat Pro is Just an American Deluxe Strat with Custom Shop written all over it?...I was really considering one (and still am) despite my thoughts..but one thing I don't like about it is the closset classic finish.

I don't think so.
I know because I have both. The PRO I have has a very light CC treatment, no finish cracking or tiny chips at all. The body has a slight haze to it but the HW is all new. I kinda like the CC treatment so it takes the fear of "the first scratch" away.
Also, the PRO has different pups and it does not have the rolled FB edges as the DLX.
The neck on my PRO has a slightly flatter C neck profile than my DLX and lastly the PRO has a flatter neck (12") radius.

Worth is what your willing to pay for, in my case I would say it was certainly worth it.

I got it at a great price from a reputable dealer, it has all the appointments that I was looking for in a guitar. It has a feel of it's own, the "C" neck fits me well and the 12" radius is a pleasure to play on.

Also, this has got to be one of the best priced CS guitars out there, mine has a nice cracked finish on the back which tapers of in the front, as mentioned by Joe it takes away form the fear of the first bump. As soon as I have some time to get pictures up I will.

I suggest you try it, you won't be disappointed.

I went to 4 music shops and none of them had them.......Do the Sunburst models sound any different from the ordinary finish models since you par the extra few quid for the special wood requirements?
