I think you're SOL on ordering a new Albert Collins Tele. AFAIK he's no longer an endorsing artist for Fender. You'll have to search on the secondary market if you want that exact instrument. But they turn up from time to time on Ebay, reverb.com, etc so all is not lost. Of course, for *that* sound, you'll also need a Fender Quad Reverb Amp. They haven't been built in nearly forty years now so finding one in reasonable shape may prove problematic.

Sorry you lost your '64 Chevy A body -- I have a '69 396 Super Sport coupe that I drive on fair-weather days. It turns heads wherever I go.

I see an Albert Collins Tele on the Custom Shop website here:

http://www.fendercustomshop.com/guitars/telecaster/albert-collins-signature-telecaster-maple-fingerboard-natural/

The fact that it's on the website doesn't necessarily mean it is available, I tried to order the George Harrison Rosewood Tele a while back and they were no longer taking orders for it and it's still on the website now.
