I see that you made it back from your world travels today. When you get good and rested you will have to tell us all about your being a graduate from the world famous Fender University. Where are you going to hang your diploma ? I'll bet the guitars ya'll got were a lot better than the ones hanging on the walls of our local music shops. Did you get to meet the great Abigail Ybarra? You lucky man, Talk to you later. :D 8)

fhopkins first about plek the masterbuilders wrinkled their noses when i mentioned it .most of the artist who come to the custom shop like working with the masters on all phases of guitar developement trusting the expertise not just in reproductions but thier every day working guitars. Zack Wylde was in there doing just that.Ceasar Rosas was also their having guitars made for a Hendrix tribute he doing.the shop is small but efficient with the masterbuilders all present and overseeing everything in the shop the master builders have apprintices but for the most part they still do most of the work .finnally Abagail was not there. I talked with her assistant and Abagaildoes all the handwounds from the custom shop i did not see any Gilmores in prodution yet but i was also on sensory overload i did see the famous belt buckle and cheese grater wife yelling got to go ill get back to you with more

That's great and better that the masterbuilders would rather do it "The old Fashion Way! rather than some new fangled machine. Wow! Seems like ya'll got to meet some guitar stars and the best luthiers around. I would not know how to act (like a kid in a candy shop) in that enviorment. Sounds like ya'll got your money's worth and more. Thanks for info and asking questions! Talk to you later as I have to clean the house before the Boss gets home  What an experience!! 8) 8)

Thanks Gratz, I would like to met you also. seems like we have a lot in common and once again thanks for all the info and pics.
I think all of us on the forum ought to met up one day. Maybe Brad and Fender could have a reunion of some sorts someday. It would be great to meet all of the posters we talk to on a daily basis! Just a thought Brad.(hint) Peace my friend!! 8)
