i dont know about a toggle but heres a schematic for a neck-pickup-on modification. I've done the mod, its very versatile and you can balance the volume of the neck pickup potentialy offering more sounds

http://www.fralinpickups.com/images/blendschem2.jpg

the tone control becomes a master tone too.

Hint. the strat forum is the place to ask for this stuff.

Give GuitarGuitar a call, I have a feeling they might still have one in the Glasgow store. Welcome to the forums PF.

Cheers Snowy. I am in Glasgow on Friday so could have a look. Thing is I am just starting playing again and I hate nothing more that having a really helpful salesman thrust a guitar in my hands then awaiting some sort of genius

What ever you do, don't chat with Big Bill. The guy will sell you a guitar, and you won't realise it until you're out the door  Suffice to say, that's who I deal with in there  Good luck with the playing PF.

I'll take a look PF, I'm by no means an expert so don't expect too much. However, there are some people on here that know their stuff. You'll get great advice in here, that is all I can say for sure. And as for thrusting a guitar in your arms and expecting genius, they are not like that in GuitarGuitar. Yes they will encourage you to try any guitar you like, but.... they don't judge anyone's playing ability. They have a soundproof booth, all kinds of amps available to use. The guys set you up, close the door, and let you get on with it. And being honest.... Big Bill is sound, a nicer guy you couldn't hope to meet. Great salesman though, be careful

Note to self, check said website before posting

My apologies PF, I had a look at their site. The guitar is out of stock, and on order.

No worries, I am going to Glasgow anyway so I might just pop in and see their shop.
