I will be more than happy to post some pics. Tommorow noon i will find out how to do it because now it is 3:35 in the morning here in Greece and i am kinda drunk (one and a half bottle of wine cause such a thing right????). This guitar is just great. Just when i was like "ok, great guitar but something is missing..." i found out what was missing! I just tried playing with the neck AND middle pickup and all the bass-middle tone i wanted was there! I just cannot stop playing the blues on this thing! The DG strat together with my Blues deluxe amp sounds just great. This thing responds to every feeling i am trying to create! It is just inbelievable! I am glad that this is my first Fender and definately something i can suggest to somebody who is hesitant about Fender guitars for any reason. This guitar sounds, feels and looks great! Long live Fender, Phil Taylor, David Gilmour or whoever added a brick in the wall of creating this guitar!

Helluva guitar, ain't it :!: :!:

P.S. I'd sure like to wish you something positive in Greek, but the only things I know are not printable

Doc i think time was invented somewhere near the Mediterranean :D

Congratulations Panagiotis. Even though i'm not a floyd or Gilmour fan im strongly considering this guitar from what i've read here. All i need to do now is find one i can play before parting with cash.

Keep in mind that we have here a different string gauge than the customary 9's or 10's. They give a bit more bottom, and there has been a great deal of effort to balance these pickups to each other as well. This is the creation of a true 'sound painter' with a catalog of great works. 8)

Glad to know you are overjoyed.

Why not just ring up Snowy, buy him a couple of pints, and have a whirl at this Gilmour. With your rave on that '57 Hotrod, I can't see you not loving this one, considering I'm the guy who pushed your button. 8)

In my case, I sat there reading all those great early reviews, and then I went down and just 'looked' at the guitar, suspended in a revolving show case. That was the push.

Go for it. :P

I mean.......she HAS the clock

It's very well explained on the tee shirt contest thread, just a matter of opening an account on photobucket and uploading your pix there. It's free and very easy, if I can do it anyone can
