Has anybody any experience with the hand wound 50's pickups? They're coming in a custom shop 1959 team built.

Cheers

I think mine were handwound and came from a ltd hle 57 strata.
I have tried a few pickups including handwound fenders by Abby and Josefina which I can recommend but this particular set by Bricenda really made the CS 56 strat I put them into really sing.
Took me by surprise! :D

The pups in my LTD 64 strat were wound by Bricenda and I love them!

Great to know... mine are quite bright, especially playing alone, ... but in mix they can really cut through.

Does anybody have the specs of these pickups, what they measure, what magnets, wire? etc...

Depends on exactly what pickups you have.
Some of the more recent 59s have ancho poblano pickups with formvar and alnico 3s and generally wound by Josefina. :D

I think you should download the 2017 CS order PDF, if I recall they list the PUP data there.
