The abalone-inlaid Lace-equipped Crash 1 copy photos came with a picture of Eric playing his original Crash 1 in mid-2003 (see photo below).

Not sure if it's possible to order an EC Gray or a Daphne Blue LTD with Lace Sensors.

Hi Phil,

Take a look at Ed Roman's site in the States.

They do a copy paint job of any of the 50 Crashocasters.

But remember it is a COPY PAINT JOB.

The 50 were done afterward.
The Crash III was an original for EC.

Hi Alain,

Since you may just be the one guy on the forum able to afford them.... check out the Christie's website, sale 5554....

Now I'm going to have to call over there and find out....I can't quite tell from the pics on the mondernguitars.com site.

I think it's #7 or #12.

I'll try and find out.

OK got some confirmation...it's #12

Looks 1000 times better fully assembled in person. The pic on Modern Guitars does it NO justice at all.

I'm guessing someone took quite a hit on the Goldleaf too, being as it went for 'only' £25,000 - significantly less than before. However the first sale was for a rather deserving charity so I doubt that buyer is too concerned :)
