I wonder if Eric still has the other seven (not done by 'Crash') graffiti guitars that we haven't seen played in public. I quite liked some of those designs.

Hi Phil,

Take a look at Ed Roman's site in the States.

They do a copy paint job of any of the 50 Crashocasters.

But remember it is a COPY PAINT JOB.

RGDS

The 50 were done afterward.
The Crash III was an original for EC.

Hi Ed Romans site is good, but as you say Alain the are copyies,so the back of the guitar is not a true image, but his own artwork.

Regards Phil there has got to be a picture somewhere.!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interesting that there was no definitive help from Matos himself. :?

Still a very nice guy, very open and friendly: maybe he has no green light to do so.

It's possible to have Crash 3 with a set of Gold Lace Sensors with black pickup covers?

Because I've seen a Crash 1 replica with Lace Sensors and an abalone-inlaid maple neck.

Alain is right...There is NO WAY FCS is making replicas of that Strat...Maybe someday in the 'NOT so near future" a tribute of some kind....but not now.

I've seen a few "home-made" replicas around...some have been well done indeed. I've seen one like you describe with abolone inlays...the neck was from an American deluxe. I've even seen one made from a CS EC Strat that the was sent to a professional painter to replicate the Crash paint...it looked spot on and was fantastic...BUT...at the end of the day....it didn't leave the CS like that.
