Hi, I want the 1968/69 Strat but the Custom Shop only make them with big U-Shape necks, and I'm not sure If I'd be comfortable with it. I'm hoping that they do them in 60's C-Shaped necks?

(that last sentence was a question btw  )

I have the limited edition 69 Strat in vintage white with the maple neck and I love it. I can play any Strat and it makes no difference to me what shape radius the neck it. Every guitar has its own character and that is what's cool about Strats. You get different inspiration by playing all kinds. Go get the guitar and just be happy and rock! :o

Does the U-Shape neck really notice? Because I think of it being like an acoustic neck. And would it be easy to use my thumb alot?

I could care less what kind of neck the guitar has. If it feels right, then I buy it!

I'm not made of money either, but if that is the guitar you want, buy it! If it is a money issuse, then forget it and look for a used Strat. There are tons out there. :D
