I never get tired of looking at your collection, thanks.
My favorite is the 1983 62' RI.

I mean the excitingly active chat we had here some time ago, boosted by the famous DTS info.
All that is dead with no specific interest by the now relevant people from FMIC / Custom Shop.
Hopefully we enjoyed those hay days of that now almost defunct forum.

Yes, the early CS forum days were great. It´s different now, pity.

I don't think the guy who took over for Mike Eldred has posted a single post.
Customer relations is apparently not a high priority for him.

he may have been told by the accountants and lawyers that any thing he says (e.g. underpants) can be taken down and used as evidence in a court of law.... :D

I agree. This forum used to be very active. It's strange how everyone just went away. I wonder if they are in some other Fender Forum out there? If so fill me in as I'll sign up there as well.

I think many of the old brigade feel the same Alain. I still buy Custom Shop guitars, just old ones! Has anyone ever seen Mr Montgomery even? Does he really exist? :)

Hi All
I haven't contributed to any Forums (Forae?) for several years but, having been guided to this topic today by Telesquire, I thought I'd register before it's too late.
John Page, Mike Stevens et al produced the finest quality Fender CS guitars until the late 90's when the bean counters got more involved.
That's how I see it, but you may well disagree.

Fora. It follows the same pattern as datum->data, agendum->agenda circum->circa and aquarium->aquaria.
And for singers, dumdum->dada :D

Thanks Rock Star!
My last Latin lesson was at least 55 years ago, and even then I probably didn't listen.
