Any ever buy a custom shop guitar bass reading all the reviews and online specs and 6 months later find out your bass is not as described?

I bought new a 2014 precision proto in lake placid blue. I wanted a nitro finish and was really interested in the tv jones "thunder blade" it came with.

The bass is killer and I love it but kind of disappointed now that I realize the specs are off from fenders retired models site and actually every site that has this or sold this bass.

I removed the "thunderblade" to trim some of the foam to lower the beast down a bit. So with it out of the body I notice a sticker saying "super'tron" and in the body pickup route a "ureth" stamp. I thought weird, I thought this was nitro?

So from the specs online it says nitro and thunderblade. I get the built sheet from fender and it says neck and body polyurethane and a super'tron pickup.

Not that the whole nitro thing I really care about but a guitar pickup in my bass, ok fine. Just pisses me off because I spent a lot of money on this and it's not what was described. No where can I find a description of a polyurethane finish or a super tron pickup. I have serveral other custom shop guitars that I'm now wondering if their right.
