A few weeks back, my favorite guitar store invited me to a FCS event. I didn't expect to find anything I'd like, knowing there'd mostly be relics and well you know they're just for posers and people who can't play... out of curiosity I tried out this particular guitar and I couldn't put it down. I played it all night. Felt like an old guitar. I even liked the slim neck profile. On paper, I shouldn't have liked it. I left the event figuring out what gear would have to go to take her home.

Pics and in depth review to follow.

I love the handwound fat 60s pickups. They remind me of the pre 98 57/62 pickups but very detailed. The guitar invites you to play in nuances. Stunning 2 And 4 position ala black 1.

Gorgeous dark rosewood fretboard. 6105 frets are perfect.

Let see how she fares on stage!

Sorry took me so long to reply. I think the best review would be to listen to it in action. Here's a show I recorded with my trio.
Please forgive the sloppy playing and out of tune singing. Sound comes in around 1 minute.

Rig:

Strat -> Fulltone Robin Trower Signature overdrive -> Victoria Victoriette 1X12"

Pedal is on most of the time, amount of overdrive controlled with the guitar's volume pot.
The guitar has the vintage modified wiring #2 with treble bleed. As you may hear, it works very well.

Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for the photos, now I can visualize it while listening to your recording of your live performance. I see by the expression on your drummer you are getting into it pretty good, as if to say "yeah that's the stuff".
Beautiful guitar, and even better sound.
Enjoy it for ever
