Yes a bit odd. There was a discussion in the past re fake necks and the J Servin stamp was definitely mentioned though he did stamp necks.
You see his on a few avri 62s from the nineties just to confuse things further
Wonder if he worked for fender around 2011.
Recent limited editions often have the limited editon on the headstock logo as well
It is also strange they don't have something so recent in their database.
It almost looks over stamped and the stamping on the body looks perfect .. many I have seen are not that clear but that is no indicator.
Did fender use that red custom shop stamp as late as 2011?
Maybe soneone can answer that for you.
A mystery for sure and when in doubt err on the side of caution
Without more proof I am with you in that it looks like it is made up of parts.
Why?
Well the neck is a concern with an incorrect logo for the time and no limited edition on the logo, a rubbed out number which then conveniently resembles a date around the time of the coa, no relic marking on the heel of the neck
The pickguard has definitely been altered.
Were did you get it ... surely the original seller has some explaining to do..
:D

That it is a partscaster I was fully aware of.
The neck is not a relic, it doesn't even have nitro finish.
It does have nice flame, so I am very curious what it is? I f someone has an idea, let me know.
The decal is under clearcoat.
Like I said, the body could be an old CS relic, but the date has been added, I think (to resemble the COA).
Pickups are a mystery too, although these sound nice..

Well the pickups are not cs60s which have quite a bevel.
Nor are they 69s for obvious reasons.
What do they measure resistance wise .. it may offer a clue... :D
