This is in regard to C shape necks. On the Custom Shop site it has a nice diagram of common neck shapes. So far I've seen:

Oval C shape / slim shoulders
65 C / meatier shoulders, slightly larger

Then I wonder where 'large C' fits in; there's no diagram? Does anyone know for sure how the large C compares to the 2 above? I'd love to see a diagram for it. Thanks

Well not very scientific but I've measured for the girth of the back with a fret board with similar width
Large C . 1st fret 2 3/4 " ......... 65 C. 2 3/4" ......... Early 60s C 2 5/8"
......... 5th fret.............3"..............................2 7/8"..................................2 7/8
............12th ...............3"...............................3 1/16"..................................3 1/8"
Note the early 60s is not the 1960 neck which is quite slim nor is it the oval neck I think.
The three listed all feel similar so I would not get too tied up with it.
Hope that helps :)

Did the CS offer compound neck shapes morphing from U to V for 2016? The new American Elites sport a compound profile that morphs from C to D (just a question).
