Just received my Bassbreaker 007 and Jimi Hendrix strat today. I have been playing with them for several hours now. Just wanted to give a quick review for anyone interested in them. The bassbreaker is an amazing amp head for $399. I own several low wattage amps as I am not a professional or play in a band. The amp looks amazing it is just beautiful. The tones are better than my blues junior or vox ac15. I was getting clean fender tones to probably the best gains sound in any fender amp. The Jimi strat is great but I would buy the amp first. Would have loved to get the 15 watt one but 15 watts is to much for me.

Thanks for the Bassbreaker amp review. I think they look good. Althought there are always different opinions in the world. Seriously, I'm warming up to buy one myself. I'd like to read more reviews as each model seems to have different features.

Are you still enjoying the Bassbreaker, has your opinion of the amp changed?

I guess this just shows how people have different opinions. I tried one out at GC yesterday and did not think the amp sounded Fenderish at all. It didn't sound bad -- just not Fender to me.

I was interested in picking up the 007 head, just not enough info out there about it to this point. I don't own any small wattage amps and have always wanted to try one out. I might pick one up anyway, it is a cool looking little head!

Was hoping the cleans were a little Fenderish but el84's aren't tonally similar to 6L6's!
