So as my amp collection grows so does my frustration. I never buy new and consequently have some buggy things now and again.

This time this amps pre amp tubes all light up, but the Phase Inverter and Power tubes wont.

It does NOT have a fuse mounted on the board (like most for heaters)

Ive installed new tubes out of the box!! NO GO!

What gives? :(

Check the 7 amp fuse F4
If good , read voltage before F4 , 5.9 VAC and after F4
Check the two 100 ohms resistors

Umm..... 50 Watt Versions dont have fuses on the board, do they?

If so they certainly are not visible?

Ahhh!! Its not a glass 7 amp fuse but rather a resister / capacitor looking component.

It does check good with my meter, I will check before and after voltages.

:?

Stratele - R165 & R166 are reading 49.6 both ways on both resistors, however the schematics says they should be 100-Ohm?

If you read resistor in circuit with tubes in : Two 100 ohms resistors in parallele = 50 ohms
Resistors look good

What about voltage before and after the fuse ?

Shematic say it is a "pico fuse " Yes this fuse look like a resistor

What is before and after voltages? Do you mean check voltages right after the 100ohm resistors?
