Why would the reverb suddenly not work in my Fender Blues Junior III? Is this something at others have heard happen before? Is it common or fixable?

Or is my amp toast? :x

ps. I'm not sure on its age. I bought it used in 2012 and really don't know how old it was then.

The circuitry is usually very reliable.
A common problem is broken wires in the tank between the coil and the connector. It's usually an easy fix.

+1

Likely, the tank has failed. A pretty common malady with all contemporary Fender amps.

Blues Jr. III is the most recent version. Is it still under warranty (5 yr. or less)?
If so, Fender has an excellent network of authorized repair points. There's probably one close to you.

TimsAudio, Retroverbial and IM4Tone, thanks for the responses. So maybe it is not as big a deal as I envisioned. I had thoughts about having to use a floor pedal for reverb.

IM4Tone, as I said above, I can only guess how old it is. I bought it used in 2012. I bought it with a LP. The guy had bought them new together, took them home, put the LP under his bed and never took it out! So I doubt if he had them more than 2 years so the amp could be less than 5 years old. I'll have to contact Fender with the serial number.

Thanks again.

You will need the amp's original bill of sale for any warranty service.

Perhaps the seller can provide it......?

A black faceplate indicates a version III, made from 2010 to present.
