Bought a Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue used a couple weeks ago. Tone is great, but this was one of the problems the amp had (fortunately bought it very cheap so there's some money left over for repairs. )

I took it to a tech and had the 2 power tubes and 1 preamp tube replaced for other reasons, but that didn't solve the problem. Tech said he wasn't sure about the buzzing. Any thoughts?

Does the amp buzz when using the "clean" mode?

Arjay

Yes, it buzzes in both clean and overdrive.

I would not touch or "clean" the circuit board.
If you do, make sure that the Amp has been off for several hours and/or that you follow the instructions at this link.
http://www.instructables.com/id/Tube-Am ... HOSE-CAPS/

I had the same problem with my BDR when it was new.
The hum would intermittently come and go.
I took it to a Fender warranty repair shop, and of course the amp was dead quiet.
If your amp is under warranty, you could do that.

When my amp failed to exhibit the hum at the repair shop, I took the amp home and did the following.
With the amp ON and the back removed, take a pencil or a similar wooden probe such as a chop stick and move the wires around and listen for any change in the hum.

I found a bad solder joint at the ON light (the light did work).
I re-soldered the wire and ON light contact, and this resolved the problem.
I hope your problem is as simple and that you are able to find it.
