I bought one of these amps back in the 80's and I still have it, complete with the 4 button foot switch.
It still works fine after all this time and is the best thing to amp up my Maton Stage acoustic.
The chorus is just sooo fat and sweet for a solid state amp.
I modded mine with a couple of extra speaker jacks so I can plug in a pair of custom made non-powered 8 Ohm fold-back speaker wedges placed on either side of stage to really spread the chorus stereo split.
The effect is dramatic.
I also have the original schematic diagrams.
If I'm not mistaken, the foot switch is a multiplexing device and runs on only two wires, therefore it's a"specialized" device.
Therefore, I doubt you will find an "off the shelf" replacement.
I have yet a find an official Fender acknowledgement that these amps actually existed.

Fortunately you can control all switching from the control panel on the amp itself, but I agree, the foot switch is the most practical when playing live gigs.
Even today I sometimes use it as reinforcement slaved to my Cyber Twin II.

Good luck finding your foot switch.

There are several amps from this era that Fender continues to ignore or disavow. My made-in-Taiwan Sidekick Switcher from 1988 was one such "orphan".

The "Red Knob" amps were originally part of Fenders "Fast Four". These were their attempt to get back into the amp market. These are reliable fairly well made amps. The Power Chorus was a particularly good amp. There is a pretty good book that covers this era of amps pretty well. It is by John Morrish and covers all the amp periods of Fender but one of the better sections to cover the red knob era. Worth tracking down...link provided.

Enjoy your amp.

Even the entry-level amps back then were built to the same robust standards of the pro-grade gear. Not like today......

Not only were they well made but the tone of these amps is quite good, especially the transistor models. The Twin, Super 60 and Super 210 tube amps had a very usable classic clean tones. The Deluxe 85, Pro 185, and power chorus amps were also very versatile. I still have the catalog for these amps, and even though this catalog is a marketing tool, they spend a lot of verbiage on the robust build quality of the entire amp line. In fact to the point of making sure they let you know they were paying attention to their long amp heritage and what that heritage meant. Might be why these amps are still around and usually found in good shape.
