Could someone help to catch John Mayer's clean (Belief or Gravity) and crunchy sound (Who Did You Think I Was or Bold as Love cover)? I have a 60'th Anniversary Strat, if you mind knowing it.

I get some clean to crunchy sounds using a Hardwire CM2 and a Fulltone Fulldrive 2 Mosfet..
If you are on a budget the Joyo Deluxe Crunch in front of a tube OD pedal, like the CM2 or by itself is not half bad..

I have a Joyo Ultimate OD in front of my CM2 and that thing is pretty awesome when I have both turned on..

I gave a Hardwire CM2 to a friend of mine that has a Fender Frontman 212 and it beefs up the tone quite a bit in that thing..

I also use a Carbon Copy and a Boss tremelo to thicken things up..
