Last autumn I bought a new 68 CDR and CVR.
I like them both so I decided I would keep both.
But I find myself playing through the CDR almost exclusively while the CVR sits covered.
It's in pristine new condition and works like a champ, but I find I don't need 2 Fender amps and it needs a loving home where it will be played.

My question is, how much is a used CVR worth in the used market?
I can't find any used 68 CVR's on Ebay, but there are a couple of the black face Custom Vibrolux amps selling between $800-$900. I think their new price was the same as the 68 CVR at $1200.

I guess you never bothered to read the forum's code of conduct, eh......?

Some things (and people) mellow, and get better, with age. :)

No, I didn't read it actually.
That's why I politely asked that if I did a bad thing to let me know and I would remove it and apologize,
So, to the site, I apologize.

Arjay, a little niceness goes a long way, don't be so short.

Here's rule #6:
Don't harass, abuse, threaten, flame, stalk, or spam other users.

Highlighted some for your reading enjoyment. :)

I would say that Retroverbial's response met none of the criteria that you cited, and in fact was rather nicely, and factually put.

It gets old when people continually and blatantly ignore the rules, especially when it was pointed out "read before posting" when one first joins.

But, kudos to you for doing the right thing and editing your post. :)

If there's no used '68 cvr on the market then there's no real way to assess the going price. Personally I would just ask the retail price minus 15% at least. I think that would be a good starting point.

As I said a starting point. It leaves lots of room for bargaining. If there aren't any bites at all you can always lower the price. I would never start by offering such a low price. JMO

I understand your point . IMO if a guy has a amp for sale at less than 15 % , to me he don't want to sell it . You must ask the right price first time .
But this is my opinion .
