Sirs, Please excuse me if my questions seem basic or simple, this bit is new too me. first let me tell you how happy I am with my Champion 100 Amplifier, I find it simple to use and just plain Fun. I have two questions, one, Do you produce a Cabinet Speaker (Enclosure), possibly a 12 x 2 / 100w / 8 Impedance for the Champion 100 If so, how does it get connected. A Schematic would be helpful or instruction. Thank you Sir's...

This amp wasn't intended to be used with an extension cab. It does not have an extension speaker jack, and I believe the on-board speakers are hard wired. Impedance issues are different with SS vs. tube amps.

Sirs, Thank you for the re-ply, It means a lot to me. No Cabinet, It's a shame I think this Amp would make the Basses for a Cabinet, Oh well. Maybe in the Future, my Amplifier should survive that long. Thank you Sirs...

Sirs, Again thank you. Another rather simple question, I'm no Audiophile but have a small interest in Amplifiers, Guitars, etc, etc... My question is what are the Pre-Out / Pwr-In Jacks used for on my Champion 100 Amplifier. I know there part of the Effects Loop. Basically how are they used, and for what purpose. Again Thank you...

Effects pedals generally fall into two categories:

1. Those that work best before the pre-amp; so they are chained to go into the guitar input of the amp. Guitar to first pedal; daisy chain a few more with patch cables; then cable to amplifier input. Generally drives, distortions, compressions, wahs etc.

2. Then there are those pedals that sound better after the pre-amp such as modulation pedals, chorus, flangers, delays, reverbs etc. Those pedals are used in the effects loop. So you run an instrument cable from the "out" to the first pedal; daisy chain however many pedals you have in your loop with patch cables; then run an instrument cable back to the "return" of the effects loop. Now these effects will kick in after the drive portion of the amp.

Some people who play with modeling floorboards that have amp models as well as effects run the floorboard through the effects loop because that way the amp model is not colored as much by the real amplifier's own pre-amp signature. In that situation, you are bypassing your amp's pre-amp section entirely.

I think I got that right... :?

The pre-amp out and power-amp in jacks might also be used to drive and control a second amp provided the second amp also has those jacks. Consult your owner's manual for further specifics.

...Although it seems like it could be accomplished with an external power amp. Plug a wire from PRE OUT to the external power amp's input. Then connect appropriate speakers to the external power amp. I don't have this amp, but it seems like that would work.

Sirs, Hello again, More basic questions and advice. I hope I can put this in a way all can understand. First the PRE OUT/PWR IN Jacks I gather are used as part of an "Effects Loop" There purpose is to Run a Pedal (Sound Enhancement) Device's In a Effects Loop. I don't know if my Champion 100 requires this if I want to add Pedal device's. I also want to add another Amplifier (Champion 100). Can I use a "Stereo Effect's Setup" using a Stereo Setup Pedal Device into 2 Amplifiers (identical). Will this work, Or could you show me how to add another (Second) Amplifier. Basically Can I use a Stereo Pedal (Effects Loop) to add another Amp. I hope you can understand this. Thank You, Sirs.

Sirs, I'd like to ask some advice, and to see If I'm going about this in the Right Manner. First the Advice, I presently own a Champion 100 and would like to add another (Champion 100) useing a "Stereo Effects Set-up" (with a Stereo Pedal Device as adviced). What I would like some advice for is, should I do this ? (should I spend $358.00 dollars on a New Amplifier and equipment and do this) Yes or No. Sir's Thank you for taking the time to read and respond.
