I just bought a 64' Vibrolux RI, I paid 500 for it, no scratches, sounds great, I was just wandering if I got a good deal. Thanks

Wow thanks for all the feedback. My post has been on for almost a month and well to be honest I'm a little disappointed. Can't wait till I have some serious questions.

Sorry you didn't get any replies earlier...

You got a great deal--$500 for that amp in good condition is a real sweet price.

I like the Vibrolux pretty well, but my fave is the 1963RI Fender Vibroverb (brownface model).

All of 'em are great for something, though...

Good Vibes To You... 8)

Sound like you did financially well, especially if you like the amp.

The Vibrolux setting on the C-T sounds especially tasty with humbuckers at low-ish volume, jazzy stuff.

Enjoy!

Thats a great deal. I own one myself.

After I bought mine, I had the filter caps replaced and all the tubes, plus put a grounded plug on it. That two prong job scared the hell out of me.

Love the tone and that old school fender sound. I think you will like yours too.

I think he bought a reissue. No 2 prong cord, and I doubt if he needs a cap job. Tubes are a another story.

I had to look twice myself. I had a 64 Vibrolux Reverb that I had since it was new and some scumbag stole it in 1994. I hope he got electrocuted with the two prong setup.

Thanks for the feedback, I've never played an original, but I love my re-issue. I like it on the stock setting best with a tele, Diaz mods with a paul. Also, sorry about your amp, I hope he got electrocuted also. Karma
