Just picked up a used Ultra Chorus everything worked fine at the guys place but when I get it home the foot switch won't change channels. The chorus switch works fine, but it won't switch back to clean channel. Any ideas on why this might have happened? Could it be a sticky relay or perhaps a bad contact in the switch? I plan to test the switch on another amp as soon as I can, but if it is a relay that may be a little beyond my ability to fix. I just didn't want to buy a used amp and have to bring it in to the shop right away for a fix. Grrrrrrr, so annoying.

Don't you need to active some push button on the amp panel ?
Any owner manual ?

There is no push button for the OD on the panel, it is just an indicator light, and the switch is done via the footswitch. All the pots work, but it when I push the button on the footswitch the ligth doesn't come on to indicate that it is in the "overdrive" channel, but using the buttons on the amp seem to indicate that it is in OD. For example, the volume button on the clean channel doesn't work, but the volume pot for the OD channel does, and the gain level works as it should.
The Chorus button works as expected, The only Manual I have is the one available on the Fender website.

I have the Princeton Stereo Chorus , same amp but low power . Pedal switch work all the time.

Try a new wire if both switch not working , mine have 2 push button
Try by pass contacts on push button switch

I feel like a total fool, in my stress about it last night I didn't notice that, duh, yes there is a button to change channel. The button was in the select overdrive position, so no wonder I couldn't switch out of it with the foot switch. I feel like such a moron. Now I hear those beautiful Fender clean tones, I think I am going to like this amp. Thanks for the responses.

Glad to hear it was only a user error, which sure costs a whole lot less than a trip to the repair shop.
enjoy!
