I want to play my tele and mic my voice thru one amp. like an acoustasonic(AS). seems like the AS is geared (marketed) more for acoustic guitar. is there a electric guitar amp you can plug a mic into? per specs only the AS150 has some electric guitar amp modeling. a mic plug for a mustang 3 would be cool. don't really want a pa just want to solo gig on the corner. what be my options? thanks.

Years ago most combos had multiple inputs but this is not generally the case today as the requirements of (electric) guitar amplifiers and vocal amplifiers are so greatly opposed.

Another issue in the combined vocals and guitar is you need to hear the guitar coming out of the amplifier but don't want the mic to hear it or you enter feedback hell. With an acoustic guitar you hear the guitar. So with an electric and mic the only option would be to set up facing the amp. Not great for the punters.

Also, mixing an electric guitar with vocals, even multiple guitars through one single channel amp tends to turn the signal to mush, and can play havoc with the dynamics of the guitar response. I even use two amps when using a looper as the looped signal detracts from the principal guitar signal when both go through the same amp and speaker.

You may have more joy DIing into a small stereo PA. I say stereo because mono systems can have the same issues as noted above but, by allowing the stereo separation you can maintain more clarity in the signal properties. Also PA speakers tend to have a greater frequency response than combo speakers.

After years of fighting with multiple amps, in a small lounge band, I opted for a small rack based stereo system. Far more convenient, and less intimidating to the putters, with one rack case and a couple of speakers. Great control of the sound and, subject to the components within the rack, a great core sound (I love my Marshall JMP1). You do need either "in ear" or extra speakers for foldback though.

However, if its just your vocals and guitar, a guitar amp and a vocal amp will do much the same and allow you to place the amps to best suit their (and your) performance.

Edited: After all that I re read your post "...On the corner..." If you are busking, sing louder or get two amps.
