Good day all, I'm a fairly new player and just got a new practice amp for my Strat. When I turn off power, I get this quick "crackerly popping sound"? I've tried turning all tone control to 0 and delaying power off.
Is this normal or do I need to follow a different power off procedure??
Thanks for any help

On all amps I'll always turn down the volume pots to 0 prior to switching off. If there are multiple amps in the stack (power amps, effects, pre amps etc) I start at the end (the last amp in the chain) and work backwards.
