Anyone ever thought the Custom Vibrolux Reverb has a weak verb when the knob is low from like 1-5?

Does anyone know how i could make it wetter? A resistor swap? Add? I've read about Moyer and Fromel mods but looking for something easier.

Thanks

If you want the easy button fix, buy a '63 Fender Reverb Unit...don't get much wetter than that! Not being a smart azz here, these are great 'verbs.

Not sure you can really mod your reverb to make it wetter, since I believe you need more control over the reverb (Think dwell, mix, tone) to really get there, but maybe someone here will know.

Any link for Moyer website ?

2. Fuller Reverb: The Reverb on the Lux is much more filtered out then the Verb due to the coupling cap in the recovery stage. C16 on the Verb is a .0033. On the Lux it is 500pf. This is a significant difference. I highly recommend replacing C16 on the Lux with a .0033 Silver Mica cap. This makes the Reverb come alive on the otherwise Reverb challenged Lux
