I have a Fender Champ 12 that I play small gigs with. I am having an issue where after the first 45 minute set the amp starts to intermittently cut in and out of overdrive without me touching the bell pedal. I can see the red light turn on on the overdrive setting when this is happening. The amp has a hard wired single bell pedal. I was thinking a shorted wire, but then why does it only happen after the amp has heated up. The tubes maybe? It has one 6L6GC power tube and two 7025 pre tubes. Any ideas out there?
