Sold my Super Champ X2 guitar amp tonight, played it for a year and a half, lost $120 or so on the deal. I also had an Eminence Lil Buddy speaker in it. Now I have $1,350 in recently sold gear money to spend on a new 20 to 30 watt amp with 6V6 or 6L6 power tubes in it. I want something real small and light, all tube, with reverb if possible, channel switching is optional must have a full tone stack with bass, mids, treble, and presence.

What does "real small and light" mean?

Sounds to me like the Fender Super-Sonic 22 Combo meets ALL of your requirements, including within your budget. :)

+1, 20-30w amps don't come any smaller or lighter than the SS 22 & it's the only Fender that fits all your other criteria. Personally I'd would prefer one of Strateles recomendations, esp. the DRRI. JMHO

Now this is peaking my interest a bunch.

With cage and loop option. Not a combo but I can lug one of my 1-12 cabs with it easy.

Look nice amp if you have a 8 ohms cab. Do you ?

Look a home made and ( handmade of course ) point to point amp with Hammond alluminiun Chassis and "vintage " cage ( or copy ).

Ask for a schematic , essential for future repairs

That it easily uses 5881's caught my eye. 5881's are a current fave of mine. Price is very reasonable, IMO. I have a new 1x12 Mojotone cab coming on Wednesday. It will hold the C.Rex coming out of my HRD to accommodate the incoming Weber 100watt Blue Dog. The 1x12 cab is to add to the 10" of the SCX2. However, having that cab around........

Looks like a fine amp. And a keeper.
