Hey guys I haven't had a chance to try out a 68 deluxe reverb yet but have some question for owners of one. I have been told it starts to break up at about 4-5 on the dial for hum buckers and about 5-6 for singles. Now if this is true how loud is that going to be. Like rip the paint off the walls of a 8x10 room and if I do get that loud or even to 7 will rolling of the guitar volume clean it up . My other question is how dose it take pedals . Thanks for your help
P.s. I work shift work so I have days off during the week when family and neighbours are out so I can go that loud.

4-5 or 5-6 how loud is going to be ?

How can we answer ? Sure It is loud for home use , not very much in stadium.

Alone in home ,no neighbours , IMO you may like it .

I'm not a C DRR owner :(

Hard to describe how loud it will be in your environment.
But even at 22 watts it's pretty loud driven to power tube break up.
If you're home alone and it's day time, then that sounds ideal for cranking it up.

How loud?
Best way to know is to get the amp and crank it up!
If the neighbors or cops don't come knocking within the 1/2 or 1 hour then you'll be good to go. :)
